MYLONAS, George Emmanuel

Ida Baldassarre

Archeologo greco, nato a Smirne il 9 dicembre 1898. Studiò nella facoltà di filosofia dell'università di Atene e alla Johns Hopkins University della stessa città. Ha insegnato nelle università di Chicago, Washington, Illinois, e Atene. Ha diretto scavi a Olinto, Polygyros, H. Kosmas, Eleusi e Micene. Importanti, in particolare, gli studi sui periodi protoelladico, mesoelladico e miceneo.
